St Patrick Athletic Assoc

The St. Patrick Athletic Association (SPAA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in the hamlet of St. Patrick, MN.  The general purpose of the SPAA is educational and charitable. SPAA provides an opportunity for kids and kids at heart a place to learn and enjoy the game of baseball.  SPAA provides leadership to ensure teams are properly organized, players are properly educated in learning the game, have proper equipment, have a suitable place to play their baseball games, and their fans have a great experience watching them play.

Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, or scientific purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of a future federal tax code. This Corporation shall not be operated for profit, but rather shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes. 

The specific purpose of Corporation is educational and charitable: 

Educational: Saint Patrick Athletic Association is an educational organization whose mission is to provide an opportunity for youth and adults to play and enjoy the game of baseball in the community of St. Patrick, Minnesota. This includes but is not limited to: 1.) instructing on the proper, safe techniques and ethical practices of baseball; 2.) encouraging effective communication, cooperation, sportsmanship, and healthy competition; 3.) developing the value and self-esteem of each individual participant; 4.) creating an atmosphere where camaraderie, inclusiveness, accountability, learning and respect are valued.

Charitable: To promote a sense of community cohesion and combat juvenile delinquency by supporting and maintaining a baseball field for the community of St. Patrick, Minnesota and its environs.
