St. John the Baptist Church

From its very beginnings, the history of St. John the Baptist Parish has been closely intertwined with that of the Benedictine monks of St. John’s Abbey who came to Minnesota in 1856 to minister to the spiritual needs of the German Catholic immigrant settlers. Our parish consists of approximately 250 families.  We worship in a structure known as our "Parish Center" which is located on Fruit Farm Road just west of SJU campus.  Aside from regular weekday and weekend Mass times, our parish also comes together for various fundraising and social activities. We strive to reach out to those within our parish, community, and world sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and his Gospel message.
