St Croix Swim Club

Thank you for taking the time to consider sponsoring our youth swim club, St. Croix Swim Club (SCSC).  SCSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is part of the USA Swimming System operating under the Local Swimming Committee (LSC) of Minnesota Swimming, Inc. SCSC trains in Stillwater, Minnesota and New Richmond, Wisconsin.  

Donations like yours allowed us to take over the swim club that was closing in New Richmond Wisconsin.  The program there has continued to thrive and grow.  With your support, SCSC serves roughly 120 young athletes annually.   The club has multiple training groups with ages ranging from 6-19.  Athletes practice 3-6 days a week depending on the group they are in.   Most athletes train year-round in two separate seasons, short course and long course.  There are only 2 long course pools within 70 miles of the club. 

As rising costs continue to challenge our economy, we find ourselves stretched thin like you.  Pool operational costs and upkeep have driven many facilities to close or omit pools from buildings while increasing rental costs.  As a result, non-profit competitive swim programs are threatened.  This is where you can help!

SCSC offers quality programs designed to improve swimming skills, build character, and support the emotional and physical development of young athletes while concurrently guiding parents and coaches in ways to positively encourage all participants.  SCSC is not only about athletic goals.  Athletes spend significant time training together, so organized activities outside of the pool are critical to their well roundedness.  Donations are critical to help fund these social and team building activities.  The time in and out of the water continues to build better future Community leaders.

Sponsorships and donations help us budget for many expenses throughout the year including:

• Offset the cost of tournaments and travel for pool use
• Pay for officials and coaches
• Pool rental costs (Significant changes)
• Teambuilding and social development
• Training tools-therapy bands, cameras, timing equipment
• Pre-construction efforts for new pool build
