Your contribution to LEAF will help build a stronger community by supporting District 742 academic, activities, arts and athletic programs.

Since 1993, the District 742 Local Education & Activities Foundation (LEAF) has provided supplemental funding for student activities in District 742 public schools through an endowed fund invested through the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. In July 2009, LEAF expanded its mission to include academic opportunities & enrichments as well as our traditional focus on student activities. We are now a "full-service" education foundation, which allows the work of LEAF to benefit even more students! LEAF has established a proven track record over the years as an effective vehicle through which the public can channel contributions to District 742 educational programs. LEAF funds are distributed through an annual granting program made up of two granting cycles; one in October and the other in March. Teachers, coaches, advisors and administrators submit grant proposals which are reviewed by the LEAF Allocations Committee and approved by the LEAF Board of Directors in accordance with granting criteria. Donors can contribute directly to either the LEAF Academic Opportunity & Enrichment Fund or to the Student Activities Fund by simply identifying where you want your donation to go. IT'S YOUR CHOICE! Donations not designated for either fund will be divided equally between the Academic Fund and the Student Activities Fund.
