Spay & Neuter Impact Program of Central MN

A nonprofit organization

The mission of SNIP is to help reduce pet overpopulation by assisting with low-cost neutering and vaccinations of animals in need, including pets, strays and feral cats.  While the focus is on cats due to their higher reproductive rates, we also may attend to a limited number of dogs.  An astonishing 98% of our income goes directly to pay for vet services!

Due to high demand, we make decisions on a case-by-case basis.  We take into consideration whether a person requesting is disabled, ill, a veteran, a senior, low-income or a hardship case.  Sometimes it is possible to do a cost share with the owner or caretaker.

In addition, we evaluate the animal's needs.  It may be anything from updating immunizations, neutering, parasite treatment, supplemental food, winter outdoor shelter or heated water bowl.

We maintain a Facebook page to highlight our successful neuters and endeavors, local resources, microchip clinics, fundraising events, tips regarding animal care and concern.  As a local all-volunteer nonprofit, SNIP believes we can and do make a difference by helping one animal at a time.  While we wish our funds were limitless, financial constraints dictate what we realistically can accomplish.
