Somali Multi Service (SMS) To respond to the special needs of Somali immigrant families.

Our mission is to assist refugees and immigrants in need, focusing on particular needs of the Somali Families and Individuals living in the City of Saint Cloud, MN, through partnerships, services and programs that are timely, culturally appropriate and addresses their concern.

The SMS Culturally Specific Mentoring Program will be based on a philosophy springing from the belief that reformative, transformational change is possible for troubled Somali youth in the juvenile probation system. 

The program’s positive approach will promote the principles of mutual respect between all participating parties, including youth clients toward each other, mentors, staff and other volunteer service
providers, and the community at large.  

Furthermore, SMS is working with the Rehab Treatment programs and Mental Health in order to outreach and provide limited clinical counseling to problem gamblers as a pilot project.
