Sojourner Center

Sojourner Center's mission is to overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time.

Domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for women and their children.

Recognizing the great need for survivor support, Sojourner Center has been a safe haven from domestic violence in Arizona since 1977. We transform lives by providing shelter and support services to adults, their children and their pets experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.

Sojourner Center helps over 10,000 individuals in the community each year and provides shelter services to an average of 1,000 individuals per year. About 50% of these participants are children.

This November 28th for Giving Tuesday, we aim to raise $15,000 to help us provide the best shelter and care for survivors and their families.

As a qualified charitable organization, your donation to Sojourner Center qualifies for a tax credit. You can donate up to $421 per individual or $841 per couple and receive a dollar-for-dollar return on your Arizona state taxes.
