Sioux Trail Elementary School

Sioux Trail Elementary School is located in Burnsville, MN

A goal for our Sioux Trail Panthers is to "Get Active" as part of a healthy lifestyle.  In addition to educating our students to make healthy food choices, we would also like to encourage them to make good choices with regards to physical activity.  

Our fundraising goal over the past next several years was to raise $30,000 which covered costs for a new lower playground, a rock climbing wall and additional new physical education equipment.  We reached our goal and are now working on expanding our efforts to get  flexible seating for the classrooms and equipment for our Active Recess program.  This will make it possible for our students to make "active" lifestyle choices both during and outside of the school day.  We hope you will support us in our effort to "Get Active".
