Birthday Celebrations + Backpacks = Kids Celebrating Kids

Simon Says Give® is a Minnesota-based nonprofit founded in 2011 by 7-year-old Mandi Simon. Mandi knew she wanted to make a difference in the lives of kids, so we started with Birthday Celebrations. Then, in honor of her summer birthday, we initiated a backpack drive that has become our most significant area of impact. 

We celebrated our first birthday child in April of 2012. Therefore, we use that date in our timeline to start counting the impact that we have made within the community. 

We are very proud to share these statistics with our donors, volunteers, and partners in MN!
