SHSGA

The mission of the SHSGA is to create meaningful change within the lives of young people through tailored enrichment programs that promote consciousness, dignity, perseverance, and self-confidence. We seek to provide young people in underserved communities meaningful access and resources to enable opportunities and develop skills on and off the golf course. 

Our goal is to create a fun and impactful environment supported by encouraging coaches, mentors and the legacy of Solomon Hughes Sr. We work with youth ages 10-18 experiencing a lack of opportunity, resources or exposure, with a focus on Black, Indigenous, and Communities of Color (Culture). We reach prospective students through collaboration with partner organizations, direct community outreach, and through school athletic programs. 

In order to cover the remaining golf costs and provide year-round academic, career mentoring, and character development resources, SHSGA depends on the generosity of donors. Your support gives students access to real opportunity.

The SHSGA is under the 501c3 umbrella of The Sanneh Foundation.
