Shifting Gears MTB Club is more than just a mountain bike club– we’re a family that believes every kid deserves the chance to ride, grow, and thrive on two wheels, no matter their background or financial situation.
Right now, 19% of our riders are on full or partial scholarships because their families simply can’t afford the costs of entry into this sport. That’s nearly one in every five kids who would otherwise be left on the sidelines. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, these riders are out there ripping trails, building lifelong confidence, and discovering what they’re truly capable of.
Your support makes all of this possible—and goes even further:
- Scholarships & Financial Aid – Covering registration, race entries, and coaching so no kid gets priced out of the sport they love.
- Trail Maintenance & Advocacy – Keeping our local trails rideable and safe while teaching riders to give back to the land that gives them so much.
- Team Gear & Safety Equipment – Helmets, gloves, and other essentials so every rider shows up ready and protected.
- Community Bike Drives – Collecting and redistributing donated bikes to under-resourced youth in our area, spreading the joy of riding far beyond our own team.
