Sherburne County has a rich and unique history, worthy of being preserved. We collect and preserve this history for the public's benefit.

History provides the connection between past, present and future. The artifacts and archival records we preserve are the last vestiges of Sherburne County's past, readily accessible for the public's benefit. The Eddy Research Library provides visitors with maps, photographs, oral histories, and many other records about the people, places and events that shaped Sherburne County history. Exhibits show off the county's stories with interesting visual displays. Programs bring history to life. Connections - with family, with community, with the past - are being made everyday in the research library, in the exhibit gallery, and on our Legacy Trail!
