Since its founding in 1992, the Shannon Leadership Institute has provided over 1,400 experienced leaders, who are committed to public and community service, a structured, challenging, and supportive experience to clarify the purpose of their work and the core values they want that work to exemplify. 

Like the leaders we serve, the Shannon Leadership Institute is agile, adaptive, and resilient. After its own period of reflection and renewal, the Shannon has a new mission, vision statement, values, and a new executive director. As we look to the future, the Shannon Leadership Institute remains dedicated to cultivating a new generation of nonprofit and civic leaders who are deeply grounded in mind-body intelligences, able to lead from wholeness, and prepared to meet the challenges of an increasingly uncertain and inequitable landscape.
