Please help the Seward Concert Band keep making music by supporting us on Give to the Max Day!

The support from people like you helps us overcome rising costs of performance and rehearsal spaces, digitize our music library, and reach more members of our community while keeping dues affordable for our performers.

Founded in 1977, The mission of the Seward Concert Band is to provide for the education and growth of our members and audience through the public performance of music. Just under 400 amateur musicians have played with our community band in the past 48 years and one current member of the band is an original founder.

The Seward Concert Band plays 2-3 concerts per year in South Minneapolis, and plays additional concerts around the region. In addition to formal performances, the band typically plays each year at the Twin Cities Marathon, and at the Memorial Day ceremony at Soldiers & Pioneers Cemetery, and at one of Minneapolis’ parks.

We hope to see you at an upcoming concert! Please check our website for a list of events.
