Camp UBU is sponsored by the Sertoma Connections of the Great Plains Club. Camp UBU is a summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Camp UBU will be held in the central area of these five states at Lake Poinsett Camp in Arlington, SD from June 26 through July 1, 2022. Youth completing 2nd to 8th grades will be under the direction of seasoned camp directors, counselors, staff and volunteers. 

Camp UBU needs your support in helping to make this a "dream come true" for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing campers that will be attending. The cost of each camper averages $800, as well as extra camp experiences that will be offered to each camper. We ask each family to pay $250 for camp registration as we want Camp UBU to be affordable for their child to attend. Donations like yours offset the differences.

Your donation will help pay for Camp UBU sponsorships, t-shirts, water bottles, arts & craft supplies, games, extra social activities and more!

This is the chance for these kids to experience peer interaction and know that they can be themselves. UBU (You Be You).
