Second Stork

SECOND STORK gives families in need the basics to care for their newborn during the crucial first weeks of life.

Second Stork is dedicated to serving a very distinct and typically under-served group -- new parents who find themselves in desperate need of practical, immediate support. We focus on direct and urgent material aid -- diapers, portable playard cribs with bassinet attachments and other essential care items. Our goal, through the partnership of hospital social workers, is to provide assistance as soon as a mother's need becomes evident, with no red tape, no paperwork ... just immediate help.  We currently partner with over 115 hospitals, and will help almost 3,000 newborns in crisis this year.
