School of Engineering and Arts PTA

The SEA PTA, is a 501(c)3 that supports and enriches the students, teachers, and community at the School of Engineering and Arts.

The School of Engineering and Arts at Olson Elementary is geared for students who enjoy investigating the world around them, using creativity to solve problems and find solutions to challenges. Teachers use inquiry-based instruction to deliver excellent standards-based curriculum for a well-rounded education, grounded in discovery and hands-on learning.  A focus on engineering and the arts allows students to understand the design process as it presents itself in all core subject areas, and to learn new ways to communicate their findings.  

The STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) helps students develop into innovative leaders, essential to a global society.

A testament to its excellence, the School of Engineering and Arts has won both a National Blue Ribbon Award (2018) and a National Green Ribbon Award (2019) from the U.S. Department of Education.
