SEAN'S STORY:

Sean was a healthy 36-year old husband, son, brother and father of two beautiful children when he was diagnosed with brain cancer (diffuse midline glioma - a rare and aggressive tumor) in March of 2023. He passed away 9 short months later in December 2023 after enduring a brain biopsy, 26 radiation treatments, enrollment in a clinical trial and gamma knife radiation treatment until we got the devastating news there was nothing more they could do. Through it all, Sean remained the rock of his family and never gave up hope. During this time, the Ryan family was incredibly fortunate to have a village of supporters surround them with love, kindness, meals, and financial support which made all the difference to Sean and the Ryan family as they battled his brain cancer diagnosis. They vowed to find a way to pay it forward.

OUR MISSION:

To provide financial support and a sense of community to individuals and families affected by brain cancer. We are dedicated to improving quality of life by alleviating the financial burden caused by this devastating diagnosis. Through community-driven events and partnerships, we aim to foster awareness while offering hope, encouragement, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing this is a challenge that doesn’t have to be faced alone.

WHAT WE DO:

The Sean Ryan Memorial Golf Classic unites our community each year to honor Sean’s love of golf and support a family facing brain cancer. Proceeds from the tournament and this campaign provide vital financial relief to one beneficiary family in their time of need. 

                                                                                             

Although our 2026 tournament beneficiary has not yet been chosen, we know there is someone out there — a mother, father, child, or friend — who is fighting the hardest battle of their life against brain cancer. And when we find them, we want to be ready.
