Save a Child International Inc

Save a Child International was started by Emory University School of Medicine Atlanta family physician Dr. Oguchi Nwosu who has witnessed first-hand the ravages of disease to the most vulnerable amongst us (children) in Africa. One such case was his niece who went undiagnosed and untreated until she was able, to be cared for at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), receiving the very best and compassionate care available anywhere in the world. 

Inspired by his niece's journey to better health, Dr. Nwosu started Save A Child International.  "Every underprivileged African child should have access to the same quality health care as exists in the developed world", says Dr. Nwosu.  ” We are committed to changing the lives of sick but poor African children 0 to 17 years of age ‘one child at a time’. We believe our organization will provide the needed healthcare to positively impact the lives of many African children who cannot afford any medical care.
