Who are the St Paul Hockey Boosters?
The St Paul Hockey Boosters are a volunteer community organization created to support public high school hockey in St. Paul, Minnesota. We are made up of parents, students, and local community members who are dedicated to the growth and continuity of the St Paul Hockey program. We support the St Paul Hockey program through:
Fundraising events to offset St Paul Hockey team expenses
Communications and PR to foster community/school engagement with St Paul Hockey
Coordination of St Paul Hockey team building events
Coordination of St Paul Hockey game day activities
Support of local youth hockey programs to ensure there are future players for high school hockey in the public school system
Our Vision for the St Paul Hockey Program is:
To be a thriving St. Paul Public Schools independent hockey program
To have both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, and locker rooms for each
To have a healthy feeder program to St Paul Hockey
To have support from local business and residential community
To be a competitive alternative to private school hockey programs
St Paul hockey players practice and play together at their home rink, Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena. The Scots Hockey Booster Club was able to build a varsity locker room in 2016 and is now in the process of constructing an adjacent JV locker room.
What sets St Paul Hockey apart from other programs in Minnesota's competitive hockey landscape is that we are a hockey home that welcomes everyone, cultivates a sense of community among players and their families, and allows hockey to remain fun.
2025-2026 funding goals include:
-scholarship funds
-updated center ice logo to reflect two-school program
-weighted practice vests
-JV locker room
