The St. John's Boys' Choir

CELEBRATED PAST. EXCITING PRESENT. PROMISING FUTURE. 

Now in our 43rd season, The St. John’s Boys’ Choir continues the tradition of enabling young singers to express themselves through music and provides an environment that nurtures and encourages creativity. Founded in 1981, our organization has grown to include four choral ensembles. Members of the choir represent home, public, and private schools in more than fifteen communities around Central Minnesota.

Our choristers stay in our program for 5-7 years, growing as singers and community members. The St. John’s Boys’ Choir is committed to providing cultural and musical experiences of the highest caliber to all our young singers, regardless of their ability to contribute financially. Each season we perform around 50 concerts at home and on tour, sharing the joy of music with more than 10,000 people.

NEW THIS SEASON!

We are thrilled to introduce the SJBC Sustainer Circle, a monthly giving program that honors the legacy of the choristers who came before, offers incredible educational opportunities to our present singers, and sets us up for success for generations to come.

WHAT CAN A MONTHLY GIFT DO?

$120/year ($10/month): You can give the gift of song and sustain our growing music library with one piece of music for our Concert Choir.
$200/year ($16.67/month): You can give the gift of fellowship and cover the cost of one chorister attending Camp Week, our annual season kick-off event held each August.
$300/year ($25/month): You can give the gift of education and provide one semester of Training Choir tuition to a chorister in need.
$500/year ($41.67/month): You can give the gift of engagement and support SJBC’s efforts to give back to our community through our annual KidSing and Sing in the Summer programs for local youth.
$1000/year ($83.34/month): You can give the gift of discovery and help sustain our annual touring program that gives our choristers the opportunity to learn about the world.
