Pottery Museum of Red Wing

   The Red Wing Collectors Society Foundation supports and maintains the Pottery Museum of Red Wing in Red Wing, MN. It is located in the Pottery Annex Building, right across the parking lot from the last remaining pottery factory building.

   The Pottery Museum of Red Wing is dedicated to the preservation and education about the Red Wing clay industries. The collection contains more than 9,000 pieces, including a wonderful donation of 5,000 plus items from the Schleich Red Wing Pottery Museum located in Lincoln, NE.

   An extensive representation of stoneware, art pottery, and dinnerware items produced by the pottery industry of Red Wing is on display. The museum also contains an important collection of historical company records, vintage photographs, and products related to this industry. These resources provide for current and future educational experiences and scholarly endeavors consistent with the mission of the foundation.
