Royel Foundation

A nonprofit organization

We started the RoyEl Foundation as a way to give back to a sport that has given us so much over the years. As of right now, we plan on having two annual scholarships that will be given out to 2 youth athletes, LeRoy Meyer Memorial Scholarship, and Elinor Meyer Memorial Scholarship. We also plan to use funds raised to donate to other bowling events that pay out scholarships and put on events of our own.

Nevin Brede and Antonio Tejeda, both of Alexandria, MN, are the co/founders of RoyEl Foundation. We both have a passion for bowling, and we both have young kids of our own, so to be able to do something to help continue to grow the sport, while providing means for youth athletes to further their education is a cause that is very special to us.

RoyEl foundation is named for LeRoy and Elinor Meyer, who bought the bowling Center in Alexandria, MN, Garden Center Lanes, in 1957. and is still ran by the Meyer family today.
