For more than 30 years, Riverside Plaza Tenants’ Association (RPTA) has been serving immigrant residents and minorities of the Cedar Riverside area of South Minneapolis. RPTA provides a full range of services for youth and adults alike to help them gain education, employment, citizenship, and integration into the broader society.

Can you remember a program you attended as a child that made a difference? Can you remember an adult you admired and who supported you in becoming a successful adult? Can you remember who helped you achieve your education or career training that set you on the path to success in your chosen career and life in general? For many BIPOC youth in our South Minneapolis community, suffer academically and often get caught in the web of youth delinquency or substance addiction. We see the struggle everyday reducing crime and substance abuse among youth and young adults in our community. 

Right now, RPTA needs your help. Costs are increasing and the need for our programs is increasing. Without your support RPTA cannot continue to expand and provide all the programs so vital to disadvantaged residents in our community. So, we’re coming together to help RPTA raise $50,000 to support our Youth Programs for the 2023-2024 school year. Our youth depend on your support to help them reach their dreams!
