The RPS Foundation supports Richfield Public School students by providing grants to support creative programming.

The RPS Foundation supports Richfield Public School students through programs, services, and activities that enrich the educational experience in the Richfield Public Schools through contributions from individuals, corporations, and fundraising events. Richfield Foundation was organized in 1989 by a group of concerned Richfield citizens who felt there was a need for local support of activities and organizations that contribute to the well-being of Richfield and its citizens. During its continuing service, the Richfield Foundation has made numerous grants in support of organizations serving the Richfield community, including grants to Cornerstone, Family and Children's Services, Fraser Community Services, Hampton Place After School Center, St. David's Child Development and Family Services, Storefront/Youth Action, VEAP, and YouthNet. In 1997, The Richfield Foundation created the Richfield Public Schools Dedicated Fund in order to focus attention on donations to public school programs in particular. Then in 2008, the Dedicated Fund committee formed the Richfield Public Schools Foundation, an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to carrying on its mission. Since its establishment, the RPS Foundation has awarded over $87,000 in mini-grants that have support a variety of educational enrichment activities within the schools.
