Revive Virginia

About Revive Virginia.   Based in downtown Virginia, Minnesota, Revive Virginia is a grassroots, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)) dedicated to revitalizing the downtown business district through collaboration among the private sector, public entities, and the local community. 

We believe a vibrant downtown is more than just buildings — it’s about people, opportunity, and pride of place. That’s why our work focuses on fostering connections between individuals, businesses, property owners, and organizations — helping to spark meaningful, positive change across our community.   Revive Virginia is not affiliated with the City of Virginia, although we work closely with them. 

Our Vision & Purpose.  Revive Virginia exists to:

• Plan and promote downtown events that bring people together and attract visitors.

• Support public safety and help project a healthy, thriving community image.

• Enhance the presentation, economic vitality and overall sense of arrival in our downtown business district. 

• Take constructive action on under‐utilized or blighted buildings and lots — helping prevent further vacancies and encouraging redevelopment.

By supporting local businesses, restoring historic properties, hosting memorable events, and creating welcoming public space, Revive Virginia contributes to an environment where people want to live, work, invest, and stay.
