*Rescue the Equine* *Revive the Spirit* *Mentor the Child*

 RRM is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth ages 4-17 and equines of all characteristics.  The heart of our program is to provide a safe & nurturing place for kids & horses to heal and grow.  This is accomplished by inviting children to come exactly as they are.  Their adult mentor pairs kids with an activity or horse that will encourage them forward toward personal growth and healing any hidden scars caused by all sorts of situations.  All activities are chosen at the discretion of the mentor.  Some of these sessions include working with/riding horses, crafting, playing games, doing farm chores, gardening and other life skills.  A secondary goal of our program is to educate kids in equine safety & horse husbandry.  All activities are structured to accomplish our main goal of creating a safe and loving environment to mentor the child.

Dear friend,

  Thank you for taking the time to consider Refuge Ranch Ministries' as an organization you'd like to donate your resources to.  Our story begins way back in the year 2002 when a couple of teenagers were dreaming of changing the world.  Due to their own broken-heartedness, they dreamed of a world full of hope, healing & majestic horses.  Fast forward to the year 2012 when the same couple of friends ventured out west to visit a horse ranch that did just that - they used horses to facilitate hope & healing & to foster a relationship with Jesus Christ.  By 2014 Refuge Ranch Ministries was officially born!  

 Throughout the years we have been first-hand witnesses to countless smiles and the deep sense of pure joy that horses can find hidden deep within ourselves.  We've witnessed miracles facilitated by the good Lord himself in the youth and their families that come to our ranch and in the horses that have found their way to our fields.  We've seen teens that have given up on life become restored, horses that have been neglected, abused emotionally and/or physically become trusting partners and children far too young to even fully understand the depth of the horrific situations they've encountered come out of their shells & begin to trust again.  

 When you donate to Refuge Ranch Ministries' you can rest assured that we are doing everything we can to be a biblically responsible nonprofit organization and your money is going directly to horse care and student sessions.  We aim to be the best stewards that we can be of the funds that our donors entrust to us.  We would love to have the opportunity to chat with you in more detail about RRM and what we do if you'd like to contact us!
