REDACT is a Muslim-led organization supporting our incarcerated community through letter-writing, mutual aid, advocacy, and reentry.
Currently running two programs concurrently:
The Sakinah Project: a penpal networking program that hosts letter-writing campaigns for Eid, Ramadan, and long-term penpal relationships to build community and solidarity with our incarcerated kin.
The Ansar Reentry Program: connecting returning members of our community with reentry services using a holistic and culturally competent, restorative justice approach.
