In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Red Eye has postponed all of its Spring and Summer 2020 events, including Theo Langason's WELCOME HOME//HOME EDITION, EARLY BIRD (in partnership with MOVO), and the NEW WORKS 4 WEEKS FESTIVAL (in partnership with In the Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theatre).

Red Eye’s Artistic Directors made these decisions in conversation with all of the artists involved, and in deep consideration of the needs of their processes as well as the health of our community. We remain committed to supporting these artists, including by paying out their artist fees in full; and we will continue to work with them to develop their projects--in future iterations of the New Works 4 Weeks Festival or otherwise. Red Eye is working on developing alternative programming for this time of social distancing (make sure to join our email list for updates); and we continue to move forward with efforts to secure and build out a new physical home, which will serve as a vibrant hub for contemporary performance in the Twin Cities once we are able to gather again.

If you are in a safe and stable financial position, please consider making a donation to Red Eye as we strive to take good care of our community amidst the loss of ticket sales and changes in arts funding. Contributions can be made online at or mailed to Red Eye Collaboration, PO Box 80666, Minneapolis, MN 55408.

Every dollar goes directly to supporting working artists and cultivating new forms of connection between artists, audiences, and ideas. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
