Recovery Alliance Duluth is a Recovery Community Organization. Our mission is to build and mobilize a compassionate community to support individuals seeking or maintaining recovery — to inspire hope, create connection, and eliminate stigma.

Substance use—and the stigma surrounding it—impacts our entire community. It isolates individuals and keeps many people from reaching out for help. Stigma is a public health issue, and it affects all of us. By raising awareness and normalizing recovery, RAD empowers people with lived experience to share their stories, strengthen their communities, and help remove the barriers that keep others from thriving.

Recovery is not only real—it’s possible.

Recovery looks different for every person, and we honor all pathways of recovery at RAD. Just as substance use impacts an entire community, so does recovery. Recovery strengthens families, workplaces, and neighborhoods—it brings people together and reminds us that healing is possible for everyone.

Peer-to-peer recovery support and individualized recovery coaching

Free, family-friendly community events that celebrate recovery and connection

Hygiene and basic needs resources for people 

The Recovery Library, featuring books and crafts that are culturally appropriate and responsive to experiences around substance use, for both adults and kids

Transportation vouchers and local fitness passes that promote access and wellness
