Ready and Relevant

Young women of color are ready to succeed. Their community is ready to support them, and your contribution is critical to their success!

Ready and Relevant provides services to young women of color while envisioning that every young woman will have the tools they need to thrive and prosper. Our service motto is compassion.

Many of the young women  we work with have already overcome significant challenges, such as homelessness, trauma, abuse, racial discrimination and isolation, lack of basic needs, lack of employment and training opportunities, and lack of education.  

We provide: 

• Peer networking (Social)
• Safe space
• Employment and training
• Financial Literacy
• Wellness and basic needs support
• Life Coaching (mentoring)
• College Assistance (scholarships)
• Community Resource (referrals) 

We serve women of color between the ages of 17 and 21 years old, and who have lived in  Minnesota for at least 12 months. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic ability, leadership skills, career goals, and community involvement.
