Holiday Matching Challenge Grant

All first time donations and increased giving over last year will be doubled thanks

to matching funds from Bell Lumber and Pole of New Brighton.

Plus, for every $1.00 donated we can purchase up to 10 pounds worth of food - stretching your donation to the fullest!

Dear Friends of the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf,

Our Mission: To provide food and helpful resources to our neighbors in need in a manner that upholds their dignity while they work towards greater independence.

We are more committed than ever to our mission as people continue to brush themselves off from the challenges presented to all of us by the Covid 19 pandemic. For those people living paycheck to paycheck, the effects of the pandemic will linger on for years. As part of our ongoing response, we are continuing to offer in person shopping with masks and social distancing, safe contactless curbside pickups or home deliveries to our most vulnerable neighbors.  Participants are able to use our services more than once a month and we continue to partner closely with school staff and other services agencies to connect at risk families with valuable stabilization tools.

We're here if you need us.

The Ralph Reeder Food Shelf continues to rely on help from our community to provide food and personalized support to the people who need it most.

Every year we help thousands of people by providing:

  • Easy access to healthy foods through in person shopping, curbside pickups or home deliveries
  • Weekend Snackpacks and in-school Smartsnacks for at-risk students (1/3 of Mounds View Public School District students qualify for free and/or reduced lunches)
  • CARE packages and NAPS distributions for Seniors
  • School Supplies through the Good Neighbor Back to School Project
  • Holiday Programs - Thanksgiving for All Project and Operation Joy Holiday Toy and Gift Shop
  • Case management support based on individual need

With your financial contribution, you give us the power to positively impact the lives of people who are struggling- one family, one neighborhood, one community at a time.

In appreciation,

Lisa Baker
