INVEST WITH US TO DEVELOP LGBTQ+ BUSINESS LEADERS

How do we change the future? We devote intentional and sustainable resources to support the educational paths of our next generation of leaders. We do this through the Quorum scholarship fund at the Quorum Foundation. We know that Quorum’s core values of building, connecting, and strengthening the LGBTQ+ and Allied business communities in all forms are truly expressed when we invest in these leaders and work to transform the climate thus enabling social and economic progress for our entire community. What is good for the world and what is good for business are more closely aligned than ever. Astonishing opportunities emerge when people connect. 

We currently have three scholarships funded through the Quorum Foundation. 1) The general Quorum Scholarship supports an LGBTQ+ student with entrepreneurial spirit working to strengthen and sustain the LGBTQ and Allied business community. 2) The Beverly Cory Women is Business scholarship supports a female-identified person who is studying in the business fields. 3) The Lee Roehl Scholarship supports a student who is studying in the math or accounting fields.

WHO IS QUORUM?

As a leader in the business equality movement, Quorum, Minnesota's LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce, champions the case for a fully inclusive business community as a conduit for economic development. We believe that including all people is inherently good for business and we provide leadership, guidance and resources to embody our guiding principles of connecting, building and strengthening our business community at every level. One of our primary objectives continues to be to create a climate of growth and success as we strive to create visibility and business activity for all of our member businesses and organizations. As a key entry point to the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ and Allied business community, Quorum strives to enhance our members’ deep personal stake in the community by successfully multiplying our impact through engagement across business sectors, building sustainable relationships, creating a source of connection, and creating inclusion at every level of the business community.

PHILANTHROPY AND QUORUM

Though Quorum is a business organization, it is a unique Chamber of Commerce in its philanthropic nature. As former Quorum President Todd Park said, “A good environment for business encourages more investment back into the community economically, philanthropically and culturally…Quorum is a fitting place for these organizations as we all share a common objective in improving the world around one life at a time…achieving unity in the community.” Many of Quorum’s members are nonprofits and they often speak passionately about how Quorum and our members have helped to sustain nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities.
