Sanford Middle School PTA

Help us raise money to support the Arts at Sanford.  We want the Arts programs-Band, Choir & Art-to have the supplies they need to flourish.  

Music at Sanford is both equipment and supply intensive.  With the increasing number of 6th graders coming in wanting to play (thanks to the 5th grade instrumental program’s success!), we are seeing our Sanford instrument inventory strained, and instruments are in very short supply this year.  Our music library is also in need of some new songs for the bands and guitarists to perform.  Funds raised through Give to the Max would go toward purchasing much-needed new instruments and music for the students to play! 

For the Arts program, funds would be used to replenish basic supplies like markers, acrylic paints, drawing pencils, colored pencils, and paper as they run out over the course of the year.  If we can raise enough to cover these costs, extra could be used to bring in a guest artist or go on a field trip.  

The Choir program has a wish list that includes new sight singing and theory books, and bigger items like a Choral Tracks PLUS40 subscription; tools that can help students have the resources they need to thrive in choir.
