The Husky Pack (Hamline Elementary PTA)

A strong, vibrant, and supportive community is central to Hamline Elementary. To support community building among students, families, and educators, the Husky Pack funds and organizes family nights and an annual community festival. Last year, we held three family nights where our community could come together to explore hands-on science activities, enjoy great music, share yummy meals, and make important connections. This year, we hope to continue these fun events where we can come together as a community and celebrate our kids. 

This is how your donation can help:

• $10 provides a raffle prize for one student
• $25 provides supplies for a science activity at a family night
• $100 supports dinner at our family night
• $200 brings an interactive music performance to a family night
• $500 provides a bounce house and music for students at our community festival
• $1200 covers all the food for one family night

Hamline Elementary teachers and parents are bound together by the belief that our kids are worth fighting for. We are warriors who work tirelessly to heed the light, bring our children closer together, and clear pathways for them to reach their potential. 

Hamline Elementary is a PreK-5 full-service community school in the heart of the vibrant Midway neighborhood in St. Paul. Just south of the State Fairgrounds and north of the home of Minnesota United FC, Hamline Elementary is nestled in a bustling residential neighborhood which is home to dozens of unique small businesses, organizations, and a community of active neighbors. 

Our many community partnerships, including our decades-long collaboration with Hamline University, as well as our experienced, talented, and spirited staff ensure all students are well-taught and well-cared for. The community at Hamline Elementary is racially, culturally, and economically diverse, creating rich and beautiful opportunities for learning and friendship. 

We are a growing school that has been built by community and fueled by love; our strength is in our partnerships with community organizations and neighbors who invest in our school and provide meaningful connections for our students and families.  We are seeking to improve access and remove barriers to learning and engagement in our school and community; we are also providing pathways to services and resources that support families.
