Help us Raise $11,000 for Phase 2 of the Media Center Transformation!
The Media Center Will Become The Destination of Choice and the Centerpiece of Our School!
We need your help! Together, we hope to raise more than $11,000 on Give to the Max Day which all goes directly to Afton-Lakeland Elementary, and you can help us reach our goal!
Double Your Dollar
A community giving initiative has been launched that will match us dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,500 on all donations given during Give to The Max! This is FREE MONEY matched for your tax-deductible gift, providing quality literature and technology opportunities at your child's school.
Our vision in transforming the Media Center is to make it become the destination of choice and the centerpiece of our school. Creating a space that is more inviting, comfortable and multi-functional is the end goal in making this vision a reality.
Thanks to past fundraising efforts, we were able to complete Phase 1 this summer with new carpet, new paint and renovation of the front entry area. Phase 2 of the transformation is a much needed upgrade to the bookshelves. The money raised will be used to purchase and install new bookshelves around the periphery of the space. This will create the open and multi-functional space we are striving for.
This worthy project is a collaborative effort already supported by multiple groups. We’ve got great support for this project and now we need you!
