Birch Lake Elementary combines experience with passion, commitment, and vision to create an excellent learning environment that is welcoming and safe for everyone. The staff is united and student-centered to help every child achieve their fullest potential. Our Birch Lake families and volunteers serve as an essential part of our school community. They give continuously and are our partners in preparing our students to be successful in an ever-changing global world.
Please help us raise money to bring Skatetime to Birch Lake!
This year, Mr. Griebenow, our Birch Lake Elementary PE teacher, and the Birch lake PTA are hoping to bring roller skating to Birch Lake. Skatetime is a company that delivers fitness through roller skating to promote balance and coordination. They provide the roller skates and safety equipment for children to try skating. We will have the equipment for three weeks.
We're hoping to raise at least $1000 for the program costs. The donations we receive from Give to the Max day will be used this spring for Birch Lake families. Last year, we raised money to use during staff appreciation week. Two years ago, we raised money to build our playground sandbox.
We hope you consider donating to this worthy cause. The PTA is planning a Skate the School event (permission pending!) so our students can practice their new skills.
