Mission

Pro-Choice Minnesota’s mission is to build collective power to remove barriers, strengthen protections, and expand access to abortion and all reproductive healthcare in Minnesota.

The Pro-Choice Minnesota Foundation protects reproductive freedom through education, training, advocacy, and organizing.

Our Volunteer Clinic Escort Program trains activists to safely escort people seeking abortion care into abortion clinics. Clinic escorts are a friendly face and a barrier between patients and protesters, and they help people access reproductive health care free from harassment, intimidation, and shame.

The Campus Organizing program trains the next generation of pro-choice leaders. We’re currently present at seven campuses across the state, educating and activating students on campus. Whether we’re fighting for abortion rights and contraceptive access or exposing fake women’s health centers, our student organizers are at the forefront of the fight for reproductive freedom.

The Foundation’s power comes from the strength of people – our grassroots member base stretches across the state, and we engage tens of thousands of Minnesotans each year.
