Pratt Parent-Teacher Organization

The Pratt Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists to facilitate family engagement and raise funds to support educational efforts not covered by Minneapolis Public Schools. Contributions to Pratt PTO support:

1. Enrichment activities for students: A broad range of experiences for students including STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), theater, music, and creative writing. For example, the PTO sponsored a visit by the MN Landscape Arboretum to Pratt first graders last fall and a fifth grade visit to Basecamp in the spring.
2. Classroom resources and recognizing our teachers: teacher appreciation events and supporting classroom needs that would otherwise be paid for by teachers out of their own pockets.
3. Community building events for students and families: For example, last year's Spring Talent Show packed the gym to enjoy and celebrate the many talents of our Pratt communities’ youth.
