Pooches United With People

"One Rescue & One Adoption at a Time - Our Dogs Become Beloved Pooches!"

Who We Are

Pooches United with People (PUP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue located in the Twin Cities. We are a completely volunteer-run, foster-based rescue and rely on dedicated volunteers to care for our dogs while they await their forever homes. We are a small team but our dedication and impact is great!

Our Impact

We partner with several rescuers in rural areas with very few resources who face dog overpopulation problems. PUP helps these areas by bringing stray, unwanted, or lovingly surrendered dogs into our adoption program, spaying and neutering dogs in the area, and offering resources and wellness care for dogs so people don't have to choose between caring for themselves and caring for their dog.

Thank you donors!  Your support truly means the world to our rescue dogs- every gift, big or small, is life changing! 💕🐾

Our puppies were featured in a Scotch-Brite Commercial in 2017!
