PJ's Rescue

PJs Rescue is a female founded, non-profit, foster-based dog rescue located in Duluth, MN. PJ's Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming neglected and surrendered animals so they may have a second chance and find their true fur-ever home. Our primary goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for these animals until they find their perfect fit and are adopted. Being a foster-based rescue allows us to connect with the animals on a deeper level and provide them with the care and training they need to succeed.

In 2024 we rescued 313 dogs and we currently have 29 animals in foster care (this number does fluctuate as animals are adopted and surrendered) with 33 primary volunteer fosters. Are foster volunteers are just that - unpaid, kind-hearted individuals that open up their homes to house these animals. Many of them give up critical free time to train different commands and provide care. Our volunteers are a crucial part of our organization that without, we would not be able to succeed.
