At Pit Squad Rescue, we believe in second chances—for both dogs and people. Our squad is made up of individuals who have overcome their own challenges, and we carry that compassion forward to every dog who comes our way. Whether they arrive as strays, from shelters, or because their families can no longer care for them, each dog is welcomed with open arms, patience, and the chance at a new beginning.

Over the past few years, we’ve faced some of our toughest cases yet. We’ve said “yes” to dogs with serious medical needs—because that’s what we do—but the cost of that care has grown quickly, and our vet bills have followed. That’s why, for our very first Give to the Max Day, we’ve set a big goal. It reflects the reality of the dogs we’ve taken in… and our unwavering commitment to keep showing up for the ones who need us most.
