Pinky Swear Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Families facing childhood cancer need financial support.

Childhood cancer turns families’ worlds upside down. On top of suddenly fearing for their child's life, schedules are disrupted, parents’ abilities to work are impacted, but bills still come. Pinky Swear Foundation provides families with financial assistance for everyday expenses, including:

  • Stable housing: Rent and mortgage payments
  • Reliable transportation: Gas cards to help with travel to treatment
  • Groceries: Food on the table for kids and families
  • Payments for bills: Utilities and other basic needs

Your generosity ensures families can focus on what matters most – their child.

Haakyn's Story

When All-Star Haakyn was five years old, his family got the heartbreaking news that he had Wilms tumor, a type of kidney cancer. In an instant, the Minnesota family’s life changed. Haakyn’s mom was able to work remotely, but that wasn’t possible with his dad’s job as a pilot. He stopped working to spend precious time with his son – but their finances took a hit. Support from Pinky Swear lifted a burden off the family, allowing them to focus on Haakyn and his healing.

Watch this video to learn more about Haakyn and his family's cancer journey – and hear what financial support meant to them.
