“When I started at PTCC, my goal was to obtain an associate’s degree. However, my educational journey, at PTCC, has inspired me to pursue my bachelor’s degree. I don't know if that would have been the case had I attended a different school. With the assistance of my academic advisor I was able to start my bachelor’s degree at SMSU while completing my associate’s degree at PTCC this semester. I cannot say enough about the quality of the instructors and staff at PTCC. They have always been helpful, supportive and encouraging, which I attribute to my learning success. By awarding me the Scholarship you have lightened my family’s financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community.  “My name is Keith, I am a 37-year-old divorced parent. In the past two years I have been divorced, laid off and relocated.  I was laid off from my job due to company downsizing, and decided it was time to pursue my dream of earning a degree in an IT related field.…because of the generous scholarship, I was able to achieve success. Please realize how much the generosity of a donation to this fund can change the life a recipient!”   Keith graduated in Cyber Security and is currently employed in this field.
