Conservation: Nestled in the St. Croix River Valley since 1989, Philadelphia Community Farm (PCF) serves the urban and rural communities within a 60-mile radius of its fields, prairie, waterfall, woodlands, on 300 acres of permanently protected natural areas. In all, PCF has helped protect 1,550 acres of farmland and re-establish a prairie and oak savanna buffer along the federally protected St. Croix River.

Education: More than a thousand people visit the farm annually to immerse themselves in the practical work of growing food and caring for animals, or to participate in an offering, walk the trails or simply rejuvenate in nature.  Buttermilk Falls Folk School & Retreat Center hosts retreats, workshops, artists-in-residence, festivals and events.

Food: Through Buttermilk Falls CSA, the farm brings local produce grown using biodynamic principles to 100 rural and urban households. We actively share the arts of cooking and preserving our food, and enlivening the land through sustainable farming practices and land conservation.

Community:. As an adult family home, we provide a holistic, therapeutic environment not only for our special needs senior citizen, but for all in residence at the farm.
