Pheasants Forever, conservation isn’t an abstract goal, it’s daily work happening across Minnesota. Together with chapters, partners, and landowners, we’re restoring prairies, protecting wetlands, and creating places where people and wildlife thrive.

This Give to the Max Day you can help protect the landscapes we love, not just for pheasants and upland birds, but for pollinators, water quality, and all who enjoy the outdoors.

Habitat is built acre by acre, gift by gift. 

Your generosity fuels conservation every day. Here are a few examples of what your support makes possible:

$40 → Could equip a field biologist with durable gloves for a year of habitat work

$100 → May be leveraged at least 10:1 to support Build a Wildlife Area® projects across Minnesota

$250 → Could sponsor materials for a Milkweed in the Classroom program kit

$500 → Can provide an acre of pollinator seed for a youth pollinator planting event.

$1,000 → Could provide an acre of restored wetland for winter cover.

Your support powers conservation work every single day across Minnesota:

• Restoring public lands: Since 1982, Pheasants Forever has helped acquire and restore over 70,000 acres in Minnesota from prairies in Lyon County to wetlands in Clay County.
• Partnering with private landowners: Biologists work one-on-one with farmers across Minnesota to add prairie strips, restore wetlands, and build shelterbelts that improve soil, water, and wildlife habitat.
• Building habitat for pollinators: Thousands of acres of nesting and brood cover have been restored statewide on both farms and public lands help sustain bees, butterflies, pheasants, and quail.
• Inspiring youth: Mentor hunts, pollinator plantings, and classroom programs pass on conservation values to the next generation of Minnesotans.
