Prairie Fire Lady Choir is a Twin Cities-based, a cappella singing group of sixty members who raise their collective voices across the state in support of art, community, and creativity. Formed in 2010, PFLC offers a supportive, fun, and educational environment to explore musical passions. The current repertoire includes covers from local artists Aby Wolf, Jeremy Messersmith, The Replacements and Matt Latterell. PFLC can also be heard singing unique arrangements of songs by Leonard Cohen, Twisted Sister, Metallica, Bikini Kill and more. The choir has performed at a variety of events and venues throughout the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota and we regularly collaborate with local artists.
PFLC is a DIY, volunteer-run choir. We arrange our own songs, plan our own gigs, and run our own rehearsals. Funds raised on #GTMD20 will go toward our regular expenses, which include rehearsal space rental, sheet music copies, website hosting, artist collaboration, song arrangements, gig promotion and marketing, and general outreach. We have missed singing together in person during COVID 19 but we look forward to sharing music with you all out in the world in 2021 when it's safe to be together.
