THANK YOU! We met our fundraising goal of $5,000, thanks to our generous donors!

Support for individuals experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, foster care, and adoption.

Who We Are.  Patiently Waiting is a 100% volunteer run infertility and adoption nonprofit organization.  We are here to support those going through infertility, pregnancy loss, and adoption.

Our Mission.  Our mission is to share resources, information and provide biblical support for those going through the journey of infertility, adoption and miscarriage.

What We Do. Patiently Waiting provides education and support for couples and individuals experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, and/or foster care. It was founded 14 years ago as a small support group, and over the years has grown into a thriving and active organization. Patiently Waiting offers monthly support groups for adoptive parents and persons facing infertility challenges, an annual adoption/infertility retreat, and educational and training seminars on topics relating to adoption, foster care.

Supporting You in a Changing World.  This has been an unexpected and unprecedented year with changing work environments, virtual learning, social distancing, quarantine, and an unknown future.  Yet even in this changing world,  the support Patiently Waiting provides to individual and families experiencing infertility, adoption, and/or foster care has not changed.  Patiently Waiting continues to provide help and support to our community, even during the pandemic, in the following ways:

Virtual Support Groups.   Patiently Waiting hosts monthly virtual support groups which focus on adoption and/or infertility.  Throughout the summer, Patiently Waiting also stayed connected to its members by hosting virtual Friday morning support meetings, where our community could briefly connect and support one another over coffee, even while apart.  Patiently Waiting's monthly support group will continue to meet virtually into 2021.

One on One Support.   Patiently Waiting also offers one on one support to anyone who is not yet ready or able to attend our monthly support group.  If you or someone you know needs support, we will find a safe space to talk with you.  Adoption put on hold? Waiting for a match during a pandemic? Infertility treatment stopped?  We are here to talk with you and support you during this time.

Book Club.  In September, Patiently Waiting launched its virtual Racial Awareness Book Club which meets monthly to discuss topics, books, current events, and lived experiences of racism.  This new book club is open to anyone, whether they have a personal experience with adoption or not.

Podcast.   Patiently Waiting has been working towards launching a podcast for some time.  It is now needed more than ever.   We are hoping to use funds raised during Give to the Max to support the launch of our podcast, so we can provide information and support to people while they are staying at home.

Ava's Place.  Due to the pandemic, we have closed our clothing closet Ava's Place.

Join us.  Are you interested in attending one of our support groups, seminars, book clubs, or retreats?  Would you like to volunteer for a growing organization with passionate people who have been through infertility, foster care, miscarriage, and/or adoption?  Contact us at info@patientlywaiting.org or follow us on Facebook to get involved!

Prayer. We are praying for your safety, security, and support during this time.

Thank you.  With our prayers, thank you for your donation and support.  We are building a community for Minnesota families in need of support as they face the troubled waters of infertility and pregnancy loss, or as they walk the path of adoption and foster care.  You are not alone!
