Since opening our doors in 2011, Parnassus Preparatory School has expanded to serve about 1350 students from Prima - Fourth Level Rhetoric (K-12). We have sent six graduating classes off to pursue their college studies and we look forward to graduating many more classical scholars for years to come.
Our rich curriculum and beautiful campus support our goal of providing an elite classical education for all. Families choose Parnassus for our rigorous, classical education as well as our high academic standards, rivaling the best education offered anywhere. U.S. In September 2023, Parnassus was ranked as one of US News & World Report’s Best High Schools. Parnassus was ranked:
Parnassus achieved the College Board’s highest recognition on the 2023 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll: the PLATINUM designation. The Platinum designation is awarded to schools with the highest levels of participation on Advanced Placement exams – awarded to schools where at least 80% of the graduating class has taken an AP course or exam and, each year, at least 50% of students achieve a score of 3 (out of 5) or higher on their AP exams.
In addition, Parnassus was also recognized with the AP Access Award, which is given to schools where students from traditionally underrepresented populations have a high rate of participation in the Advanced Placement program.
As a charter school, we receive state funding for most, but not all, of our programs since we do not receive the local funds that traditional public schools receive. Our success is bolstered by your support! Thank you for helping us as we train our students to become lifelong learners, great citizens, critical thinkers, and leaders.
Every gift helps us as we work to fulfill our mission to provide our students with a classical education that is grounded in the classical Trivium and demands their best in intellectual achievement and character development.
We cannot thank you enough for your support!
