What We Do

The St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassadors serve as goodwill ambassadors for the city of St. Louis Park. They promote the city of St. Louis Park and the Parktacular Festival at various events in St. Louis Park as well as in parades and other community events and festivals throughout the Twin Cities metro area, out-state Minnesota, and western Wisconsin. In addition, they volunteer their time and efforts to other deserving organizations and groups.

Who We Are

The St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassadors are selected without regard to gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, country of origin, or socioeconomic status. Our young adult Ambassadors are between the ages of 17-22 and live or go to school in the St. Louis Park school district. Our Junior Ambassadors are in grades 4 - 8 and they live or go to school in the St. Louis Park school district. Our Senior Ambassadors are mature adults ages 55+ who have a passion for mentoring our young people and promoting St. Louis Park and its Parktacular Festival.

Developing Future Leaders

The St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassador Scholarship Program provides educational scholarships and fosters the personal and professional growth of its ambassadors by providing opportunities that encourage and promote the development of their skills in leadership, communication, self-awareness, team building, and community relationships.
